Every position we're casting

Seven roles, from the stage to the front door. Pick the one you want in the application — or tell us you're open and we'll talk it through.

Entertainers

Independent contractor · 1099

Perform on the main stage, work private dances and VIP Champagne Room sessions, set your own schedule and control your own income.

  • Stage sets on an expansive main stage, plus private dances and VIP rooms
  • You choose the nights you work and the hours you keep
  • A professionally run room with house standards that are enforced
  • Whether you already work in the industry or are auditioning for the first time, come and tell us where you are

Full role details

Bartenders

W-2 · Tips

Run a fully stocked liquor bar through fight nights, game days and weekends. Hourly pay, and you keep your tips.

  • Pour a full liquor bar — cocktails, draft, wine and champagne
  • Serve the gastro-pub kitchen menu to guests at the bar
  • Keep the bar clean, stocked and organised across a late shift
  • Bring any bar, restaurant or hospitality experience you have to the interview

Full role details

Waitresses

W-2 · Tips

Look after your own sections on the floor, serving drinks and the kitchen menu. Hourly pay, and you keep your tips.

  • Serve drinks and the gastro-pub kitchen menu on the floor
  • Own your sections through fight nights, game days and weekends
  • Keep the room guest-focused, tidy and moving across a late shift
  • Bring any serving, hospitality or nightlife experience you have

Full role details

Door Girls

W-2 · Tips

The first person every guest meets — check ID at the entrance, handle admission and set the tone for the night.

  • Greet arriving guests and check ID at the door — 21+ entry is enforced, without exception
  • Handle admission, free passes and guest lists at the front
  • Work alongside security to keep the entrance orderly on a busy night
  • Stay warm and welcoming while holding a firm line on the door rules

Apply below — choose Door Host / Door Girl.

House Moms

W-2

Run the dressing room and look after the entertainers — the role the whole floor depends on and the hardest one to fill well.

  • Keep the dressing room stocked, clean and running through a full shift
  • Look after the entertainers on shift and be the person they come to first
  • Help new entertainers settle in and learn how the house runs
  • Work closely with management on scheduling and the night's line-up

Apply below — choose Not sure yet — open to options and name the role in the notes box.

Barbacks

W-2 · Tips

Keep the bar standing up on the busiest nights — stock, ice, glassware and everything the bartenders need before they ask.

  • Stock liquor, beer, mixers, ice and glassware ahead of and through service
  • Change kegs, run glasswash and keep the wells clean on a late shift
  • Support the bartenders directly on fight nights, game days and weekends
  • Physical, fast work — this is the job that makes a busy bar possible

Apply below — choose Not sure yet — open to options and name the role in the notes box.

Security

W-2

Keep the room safe and the house standards enforced, for guests and staff alike, every night until 5 AM.

  • Enforce entry requirements, house rules and the 21+ policy
  • Watch the floor, the stage and the VIP areas through the night
  • De-escalate first — judgement and a level head matter more than size here
  • Work as one unit with the door, the bar and the floor staff

Apply below — choose Floor Staff / Security.

What to bring

  • A valid government-issued photo ID — you must be 21 or older to apply
  • Proof you are legally authorised to work in the United States
  • Your availability — the nights and hours you actually want to work
  • Any questions you have. Bring them; this is the part where we answer them

What to expect

It's a conversation, not an audition line. Come in, ask for management, and talk through the role you want, the hours you're after and what you've done before. Entertainers auditioning are welcome to bring what they perform in.

Scheduling here is flexible and self-set — tell us your availability and we build around it. Bring your questions; answering them is the point of an open call.

Can't make either day? Apply privately below. Nothing about the online application counts against you, and it reaches exactly the same people.

Casting call questions, answered

When is the Knockouts Houston open casting call?

The open casting call runs Thursday, September 10, 2026 and Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM both days, at 2425 Mangum Road, Houston, TX 77092.

Do I need an appointment for the casting call?

No. It is an open call — walk in any time between 5 PM and 10 PM on either day and ask for management. If neither day works for you, apply online instead and we will follow up however you tell us to.

What positions is Knockouts Houston casting for?

Entertainers, bartenders, waitresses, door girls, house moms, barbacks and security. Entertainers work as independent contractors; the rest are W-2 positions, most of them tipped.

What should I bring to the casting call?

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID — you must be 21 or older to apply — proof that you are legally authorised to work in the United States, and your availability. You do not need to bring a résumé, and there is nothing to pay.

What should I wear to the casting call?

Come dressed the way you would want to be seen at work. Entertainers auditioning are welcome to bring what they perform in. There is no formal dress code for the call itself.

Do I need experience to apply?

Tell us what you have. Whether you are already working in the industry or auditioning for the first time, come and talk to us about where you are — that conversation is what the casting call is for.

How old do you have to be to work at Knockouts Houston?

You must be 21 or older to apply for any position, and you will need a valid government-issued photo ID. Texas sets a higher minimum age for employees of sexually oriented businesses than most states, so this applies to every role, not only the entertainers.

Where is the casting call being held, and is there parking?

At the club itself — 2425 Mangum Road, Houston, TX 77092, in northwest Houston just off the Northwest Freeway (US-290), with free parking on site. It is an easy drive from The Heights, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, Spring Branch, Jersey Village and Cypress.

Can I apply online instead of coming to the casting call?

Yes. The application form on this page goes straight to management — not to a public job board — and we will reach out however and whenever you tell us to. Applying online first and coming to the call as well is fine, and does not count against you.

Will my application stay private?

Yes. Applications go to management directly, with no public listing and no walking in cold if you would rather not. Tell us the best way and time to reach you, and that is exactly how we will follow up.

Is the casting call only for women?

No. Knockouts Houston is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law. Security and barback roles in particular are open to everyone.

Already working in the industry or auditioning for the first time — tell us where you are and we'll take it from there. See the full entertainer role for the detail.
